New! Exclusive Commander in Chief Cap!

Step into the local history of Little Washington with our new Commander in Chief Cap. Our very own Joanie Ballard designed this cap, inspired by the official George Washington Commander in Chief Flag. George Washington, as the Commander in Chief, had a personal flag designed to represent his role and title, following the European tradition of the time. This flag would accompany him wherever he went, whether on the battlefield, at his headquarters, or on the march.

WASHINGTON'S COMMANDER IN CHIEF FLAG

The Commander in Chief Cap captures the essence of Washington's official flag through its dark navy blue color and white embroidery. It is emblazoned with 13 stars that represent the 13 original colonies Washington led during the revolutionary war. Made from 100% cotton, this cap is embroidered in the USA and touts one-size-fits-most design, adjustable to fit many heads, ensuring that anyone can wear this symbol of history.

As a tribute to one of America's greatest leaders, Little Washington has unofficially adopted the flag of its namesake to represent our local heritage. It makes the perfect gift for history buffs, the scenic explorer, and the local legends. We're so excited to have this offering and a little something for everyone in the shop!
